The Dolce&Gabbana Spring/Summer collection 2016 was Tittled ' Italia is Love' with Dresses depicting the scenes and landscapes of Italy, together with ladylike handbags and 50s looks. Decorations on bags and dresses celebrated the country's greatest tourist attractions: Capri, Amalfi, Taormina, Rome, Portofino. There were virgin Mary medallions dangling from shoes also appliqued on velvet dresses. The bags were traditional wicker baskets, there were also lemons everywhere embroidered into dresses, headdresses or on chunky plastic earrings. The whole set was of Italy a 1950s Italian High Street, complete with Red and White stripy awnings. The clothes came in every shape, shade and incarnation, with the brand's signature sleek silhouettes with the international customer in mind, loose, stripped tunics, worn over trousers, flowing long sleeves, floral dresses, with matching head scarfs.
